2022 Hot Jazz Jubilee Canceled
Four Days of Music
All Under One Roof!
At Hot Jazz Jubilee you can enjoy the music in six different venues, ranging from the large Grand Ballroom, home of the opening and closing ceremonies, to the more intimate Sacramento Room and RJ’s Bar. Dancers will want to hang out in the three Ballrooms, each of which offers a generous-sized dance floor. And it’s all under one roof!!
Thanks in part to the sponsorship of the Sacramento Jazz Education Foundation (SacJEF), the Hot Jazz Jubilee will for the first time feature a Pro-Am Jam venue, where young musicians can jam side-by-side with the adult pros. The venue will also be home to two educational jazz clinics, presented by Bill Dendle, musician and Director of the SacJEF annual Teagarden Jazz Camp. In keeping with the festival’s mission to promote youth jazz education, everyone 12 and under is admitted free, and ages 13-20 are free with student ID.
As in past years, festival goers can expect a number of “Special Sets” showcasing some of the talented musicians. Plans are still under development, so be sure to check back often.
