Hot Jazz Jubilee is Back!

At Hot Jazz Jubilee this year you will enjoy the music in five different venues, ranging from the large Grand Ballroom, home of the opening and closing ceremonies, to the more intimate Garden Terrace and Cabaret at RJ’s. Dancers will want to hang out in the three Ballrooms, each of which offers a dance floor. And it’s all under one roof!!

YOUTH!

Thanks to the generosity of the Sacramento Jazz Education Foundation (SacJEF), the Hot Jazz Jubilee will once again feature a Pro-Am Jam Clinic, where young musicians will have an opportunity to jam side-by-side with adult pros at two educational jazz clinics, coordinated by Clint Baker, musician and Director of the SacJEF annual Teagarden Jazz Camp. In keeping with the festival’s mission to promote youth jazz education, everyone 12 and under is admitted to the festival for free, and ages 13-20 are free with student ID.

Special Events

As in past years, festival goers can expect a number of “Special Sets” showcasing some of our talented musicians, including the ever-popular Firehouse 5+2, Boogie-Woogie Blowout, Back to the Future Part II, and more.
